As part of the City of Espoo’s Sustainable Development program, part of the UN University’s RCE network, the city has launched a new, web-based service which helps residents compare the costs and benefits of renewable energy with those of traditional sources of energy. This service aims to encourage residents to consider switching to renewably sourced energy.
