Washington D.C. based shared transportation developer Split Technology has acquired Ajelo, the Finnish transportation software start-up which developed an advanced routing algorithm for use in ride-sharing systems. Ajelo’s software, already in use in Helsinki’s Kutsuplus shared ride service, supports Split Technology’s development of affordable, convenient shared transportation solutions.
