China’s ambassador to Sweden Chen Yuming and the chairman of the Sweden-China Trade Council (SCTC) signed an agreement to establish the Sino- Swedish Green-Cooperation Platform on November 4th. The Platform will support knowledge sharing and innovation between small- and medium-sized companies in Sweden and China with a particular focus on green and low-carbon industries.

The platform brings together Sweden’s strong reputation as a fore-runner in the field of green technology with China’s rapidly expanding economy to support China in adhering to its strict carbon-reduction targets without limiting business activity to the detriment of its economy.
