The World Alliance for Low Carbon Cities is pleased to announce the induction of its newest City member, Jinjiang, a city in Fujian Province, China. As the city aims to balance sustainability with a transformation of its economic structure it is poised to set the standard for cities seeking to acknowledge environmental concerns while also driving its economic development.

The city’s well-rounded balance of industries and services and the City’s innovative development of a low-carbon economy make the city a strong addition to the Alliance’s global network of cities.
